Six Arrested in Relation to Illegal Gambling in Texas

A total of six people were arrested on Wednesday, September 23, after Bexar County Sheriff’s deputies carried out a search warrant at a home. The home, located in Far Southeast Bexar County, resulted in the apprehension of the six suspects, booked on charges of illegal gambling. The deputies were able to seize motherboards and narcotics during the raid, with several of the people now facing felony charges. Deputy Noel Diaz provided details about the raid, including the location in the 100 block of Esma Street near where South Presa Street and Southton Road intersect. The warrants were secured after a tip was received from the public that the home was used to conduct unauthorized gambling. A total of 26 illegal gambling machines were seized at the venue. Three of the six people arrested noted that the people in question had pre-existing warrants.
