OpenBet ready for Nikos Konstakis to take over leadership

OpenBet’s Chief Product Officer, Nikos Konstakis, will step up to become the gambling tech firm’s Chief Executive Officer at the end of 2026. Acting Group CEO Jordan Levin will instead transition to a Chairman role, maintaining his commitment to help shape the company’s long-term strategy. Konstakis will move away from leading OpenBet’s operational and commercial execution to instead take on leadership of the tech provider’s vision and day-to-day business, focusing on growth delivery and target prioritisation. He added: “I want to thank Jordan for his leadership and the foundation he has built at OpenBet. It’s a privilege to take on this role and lead the business at such an exciting time. “We have an exceptional customer base, a great team and significant opportunities ahead of us. My focus will be on building on those strengths, bringing even greater pace and focus to the business and making sure we continue to set the standard in the markets we serve. “I’m excited about what we can achieve from here and look forward to working with Jordan in his new role, and with our teams around the world, as we take OpenBet forward.” Levin noted that Konstakis fits right into the new role namely because of his inside out knowledge of OpenBet’s customer network and technology stack, built over a period of more than eight years since joining the company. “Nikos has already been instrumental in driving the evolution of OpenBet and I have tremendous confidence in his leadership as CEO, having served in multiple and progressing senior executive positions at OpenBet,” Levin said. “With OpenBet on a strong footing and significant opportunities ahead, I’m excited to continue supporting Nikos and the wider team as we drive the next phase of OpenBet’s growth.” Konstakis joins at a time of significant growth for OpenBet. Last year, the company gained major momentum after completing its management buyout from holding group Endeavor. OpenBet is now working towards the acquisition of OmniLogic, a sportsbook tech provider, to further strengthen its own position in the global lottery market.
