Zitro International renews ISO environmental certifications

Gaming equipment supplier Zitro International says it has renewed two internationally-recognised environmental certifications covering greenhouse-gas emissions and the carbon footprint of its products. The company said it had renewed its ISO 14064 and ISO 14067 certifications, as part of its environmental, social and governance (ESG) commitments. ISO 14064 provides a framework for quantifying and monitoring an organisation’s greenhouse-gas emissions. Zitro said in a recent press release that the certification supported the measurement and management of emissions across its facilities and value chain. ISO 14067 focuses on the carbon footprint of products throughout their life cycle, providing a methodology for assessing their climate impact and for the consistent measurement and reporting of carbon-footprint data, according to the announcement. Zitro stated that the renewal of the certifications reflected its approach to measuring and managing its carbon footprint, as well as its commitment to responsible resource management and continuous improvement across its operations. The company continues to expand its footprint in Asia, particularly in the Philippines, where the company has been increasing installations of its slot products and cabinets. At this year’s Global Gaming Expo (G2E) Asia 2026 in Macau, the supplier showcased its latest product portfolio, including its FANTASY cabinet line, with executives telling GGRAsia the company expected further deployments across Asian gaming markets. Zitro recently appointed Ángel Sueiro as its new regional director for Asia, a move the company says is aimed at strengthening its commercial presence in the region.
