William Hill is to expand its footprint across Nevada through a new partnership with Terrible’s casinos. The deal adds three more sportsbook locations and could push the operator’s statewide network to more than 110 outlets. William Hill Targets Smaller Nevada Markets with Terrible’s Partnership The Nevada Gaming Control Board gave unanimous approval for nonrestricted gaming licenses for the sites on November 4. They include Terrible’s Casino in Indian Springs, Terrible’s in Carlin, and Terrible’s Searchlight Casino in Searchlight, as reported by The Las Vegas Review-Journal. The applications will now be forwarded to the Nevada Gaming Commission (NGC), which is expected to review them at its November 19 meeting. Final approval would help Caesars Entertainment subsidiary William Hill further entrench itself in the state. The expansion is part of William Hill’s efforts to reach customers beyond Las Vegas and its major casino resorts. The company has been increasingly focusing on smaller communities, where local casinos offer the potential for more sportsbook operations. The partnership with Terrible’s will allow William Hill to serve sports fans throughout the state of Nevada, Eric Hession, president of Caesars Digital, said in a statement. He also cited the company’s commitment to investing in local markets and supporting casino partners. Since 2025, William Hill has added and upgraded a number of sites. Its recent expansion includes Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, Hotel Nevada in Ely, Verdi Grillhouse in western Nevada and Barton’s Club in Jackpot, near the Idaho border. William Hill Uses Kiosks to Grow Its Nevada Sportsbook Network The company has also teamed up with Terrible’s to resurrect sportsbook operations at Primm Valley Resort & Casino. The facility resumed operations in July after a 17-day closure, welcoming back workers who had temporarily vacated the premises. The new sportsbook features three betting kiosks, three ticket windows with staff, and 24 screens. It also backs up against the property’s 24-hour sports bar. William Hill also has a betting kiosk at the nearby Whiskey Pete’s truck stop. Meanwhile, the operator recently finished a big renovation of its race and sportsbook at the Rio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. The 3,400-square-foot facility now includes 12 self-service kiosks, eight racing stations, new seating, new LED displays, and VIP areas. William Hill has both staffed sportsbooks and smaller betting sites that only have automated kiosks in its Nevada network. This operating model allows the company to enter markets without the infrastructure of a big sportsbook. Caesars Digital Operations President Hession has previously stated that the company can have a working sportsbook up and running in less than three weeks when the right opportunities present themselves. Caesars Incentivizes In-Person Betting With $1M Nevada Giveaway The registration requirements in Nevada make it very important for a casino to have a physical location. Sports bettors must go to a licensed sportsbook in person before they can use remote mobile wagering anywhere in the state. Caesars and William Hill have offered promotional incentives to customers to encourage such visits. One such example is the Nevada $1 Million Parlay Cash Giveaway, which runs the entire football season. The promotion features prizes totaling $1 million, including a weekly grand prize of $30,000. Customers must visit a participating casino and make a qualifying parlay bet to enter. Caesars is bankrolling the promotion itself, using it as a means to drive more visits and wagering activity at partner properties.
