President Donald Trump’s super PAC will reimburse taxpayers after the U.S. government used millions of dollars in taxpayer money to promote the president through 13 campaign-style advertisements. Though the president claimed the advertisements celebrate the “golden age of America,” critics pushed back on the spots, which claim “God made Trump” and appointed him to “take on the deep state.” The U.S. government has used at least $2.5 million from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to purchase television commercial slots for the advertisements. A report from The New York Times suggested that the Trump administration was ready to spend $20 million in DHS funding on the campaign. The Radical Left is upset with the fact that I am taking Ads, which I consider to be a positive promotion for our Great U.S.A., and paying for them with U.S.A. money,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “This is a rather standard thing to do but, rather than doing that, although nothing will make them happy, I have decided to do the Patriotic Ads, among others, and pay for them myself, and with money I raised for MAGA, Inc.” The pro-Trump messaging comes a month before the midterm elections, where Republicans are trying to retain control of Congress for the president’s final two years in the White House. Adelson Support MAGA Inc.’s largest donor is the world’s richest casino owner, Dr. Miriam Adelson, the widow of the late Sheldon Adelson. Dr. Adelson’s net worth has taken a serious hit during Trump’s second presidency, as shares of Las Vegas Sands have crashed. The Adelson family owns over half of the company’s outstanding shares. When Trump was sworn in a second time in January 2025, Sands shares were trading at $44. The stock closed on Monday (Oct. 5) at $36.61, a nearly 16% drop. Year to date, the company’s valuation is down almost 44%. Still, Adelson’s net worth, according to Forbes‘ Real Time Net Worth, is $30.5 billion, making her the world’s richest casino tycoon. Sands owns and operates large-scale casino resorts in Singapore and China’s Macau. The company no longer has casino holdings in the U.S. The Adelsons have been longtime supporters of Trump, directing a quarter of a billion dollars to his presidential campaigns since 2016. According to the Federal Election Commission, Dr. Adelson is MAGA Inc.’s largest donor. On May 5, 2026, Adelson cut a check to MAGA Inc. for $25 million, matching Diane Hendricks and Greg and Anna Brockman for the PAC’s top donors for the fundraising period between Jan. 1, 2025, and Aug. 31, 2026. MAGA Inc. raised almost $424.4 million during the timeframe. Along with campaign support, the Adelsons gave $5 million to Trump’s first inauguration committee. The Adelson Family Foundation is also listed as a donor for Trump’s White House ballroom project. MAGA Inc. Donors The Brennan Center for Justice, a left-leaning public policy institute, reported in February 2026 that MAGA Inc. relies heavily on wealthy donors. The report found that 96% of the super PAC’s funding comes from donations of $1 million or more, and 62% gave $5 million or more.
