Off-Strip Casino Awards $1.1M on the Same Hand to Two Players

The Palms Casino Resort has become the site of a lucky outcome after two players divvied up a total of $1,154,924 following a bet on the same baccarat game. The progressive jackpot was won by two players at the same time, with each taking home $577,462, triggering the grand prize while they played in the same round. The winning hands included all six cards in the suit of clubs, with a three-card Banker hand totalling 7 and defeating a Player hand that totalled 0. Big jackpots at the Palms Casino Resort are not infrequent; in fact, there have been many such instances throughout the year. For example, a player in February hit a $609,346 Platinum Bonus Jackpot while playing the Whitney Houston Slots by IGT. This event rounds out the property’s profile as a place where you could win playing both table games and slots. In May, a woman was able to flip her $5 progressive side bet on baccarat into another massive payday – $1,117,842- yet another lucky event and a way to burnish the property’s progressive jackpot credentials. The Palms Casino remains one of the hottest venues for paying out six- and seven-figure jackpots in Las Vegas, Nevada, making it a draw for casual and more dedicated players alike. Yet, none of these wins quite measure up to another huge payout that took place at the property back in 2024. An out-of-state visitor secured a $2.1 million payout at the property in July 2024. The player epicly won a $3 bet on the Wheel of Fortune with $0.46 left in their balance.
