GGBET gets brand boost from Ukrainian basketball finals

Kyiv gaming firm GGBET has kept up the pace with its range of initiative and activations held across the company’s home nation. This week marks the final stage of the GGBET Ukrainian 3×3 Basketball Championship, taking place in Kyiv. GGBET is a title sponsor of the tournament, part of its wider partnership with the Ukrainian Basketball Federation. Ukrainian sport has been a particularly important area of focus for GGBET throughout 2026, and the partnership with the basketball federation has been a core pillar of this. GGBET UA, the firm’s Ukrainian domain, has previously been title sponsor of the men’s and women’s national basketball teams. The 3×3 Basketball Championship sponsorship extends its support to new levels of amateur and professional sport in the country. “The final turned out to be particularly tense, with the winner decided in overtime,” a GGBET UA statement read. “The title shot came down from long range, securing a victory and the season’s gold medal. “GGBET UA turned the championship final into a true celebration of basketball with a jam-packed entertainment programme for spectators: DJ sets, interactive activities, prize giveaways and a performance by one of the country’s most decorated cheerleading squads.”” The total prize fund for the championship amounted to UAH 1m (£16,500). The tournament was held over three months and across five Ukrainian regions, with 12 teams participating. Participating teams have been donating 50% of their winnings to the Ukrainian armed forces. The GGBET-sponsored final comes amid the firm’s similar activity in Ukraine in football, with a contract extension recently penned with FC Polissya Zhytomyr of the Ukrainian Premier League. “The brand continues to invest in different sports and develop our product to meet the needs of fans, regardless of their sporting preferences,” a GGBET spokesperson told SBC News at the time.
