The last 12 months for gambling solutions supplier EveryMatrix have been very eventful, to say the least, marked by partnerships across a long list of countries and continents. But what exactly makes it such a sought-after partner by both private and state-owned operators alike? Daniel Clark, company Group Commercial Director, unveiled that it might be because EveryMatrix is not one to turn down a challenge. Speaking to Charlie Horner, Media Account Manager for SBC Media, Clark said: “From a historical standpoint, we’ve proven through the success that we’ve had over the last few years that we can deliver results, deliver scalability, innovate with our partners and deliver these bespoke features that helps them stand out against their competitors.” One of the strongest suits of EveryMatrix is transforming legacy systems into a modern, commercially viable ecosystem across a variety of specialised operators – from lottery, through iGaming, to sportsbook. Its latest partnership with Danish state-owned operator Danske Spil was a shining example of that, where EveryMatrix took on the challenge of bringing a legacy platform that was first launched in 2012 into the modern era. “They were struggling to grow their footprint,” Clark said. “We were able to demonstrate that we’ve got the tools to really help to capture new players in that market. “We’ve proven with some of our other partners, Norsk Tipping being one of them, and OPAP, which they can easily relate to, that we can continue to help them grow in the right effective way, but all within the constraints of the compliance and regulatory requirements in Denmark.” Despite its size, Merkur Group – a global sportsbook founded by legendary entrepreneur Paul Gauselmann – was also impressed enough by EveryMatrix to migrate its own proprietary technology platform. “And even with Betsson, they are obviously a tier-one global operator looking to enter into a new market in Africa, through our ability to help them scale quickly, to deliver effectively, we were able to succeed in those tenders,” Clark reminded. The gambling sector never sleeps, and it seems neither does EveryMatrix. As things are shaping up to be, next year will see Austria, Finland and New Zealand open their doors to online international competitors. EveryMatrix is well aware of that, already planning its strategy ahead step-by-step. “We’re very excited about those three markets in particular. We’ve already had early success in New Zealand with Sky City that we announced towards the back end of last year. “We’re very well equipped operationally now to understand the demands that the operators will face from a compliance and regulatory standpoint. Again, that enables us to deliver effectively when it does come to the delivery process. “And there’s also an element of being reacting to some of the opportunities that arise within those respective markets, but also being on the front foot, being proactive, talking to our existing partners, opening their eyes to what may be available in these new markets, especially across Scandinavia as well. There’s a lot of synergies to be had there.” Looking ahead towards the end of the year and beyond, Clark seemed confident in carrying over the momentum from the last 12 months as the company moves forward, all whilst hinting at ‘really ambitious targets’ with regards to what is still yet to come. “It’s just continuing to, again, like I say, build on that momentum, both commercially but also from a delivery standpoint, delivering against our promises as we’ve already done this year.”
