It’s official: Aristocrat Gaming’s Monopoly Big Board Bucks will be available on Class II casino markets across the United States after the slot game received the prestigious Slot of the Year award at the Global Gaming Awards Americas during the G2E gaming industry event in Las Vegas. Nostalgia Combined with Past-Paced Action The expansion will make the title available to more players in Class II markets, which operate under a different regulatory framework from traditional Class III casino gaming. “Having Monopoly Big Board Bucks recognized as Slot of the Year is an incredible honor and a testament to our team’s commitment to creating memorable player experiences,” said Kurt Gissane, Aristocrat Gaming’s chief commercial officer for the Americas. He added that the company, which also refinanced its debt facilities for a total of $1.85 billion at the end of April, looked forward to expanding the game’s reach, citing its gameplay, bonus features and performance on casino floors. The game debuted at Yaamava’s Resort & Casino in California in April 2026, becoming the company’s first game title released “under its newly awarded multiyear licensing partnership with Hasbro.” “Powered by the company’s industry-leading innovation, this first title brings nostalgia, iconic iconography, and dynamic gameplay to the forefront,” the official announcement then said. Aristocrat’s chief executive officer, Craig Toner, also took the opportunity to say they were “incredibly proud” to see their introductory MONOPOLY title “make its debut on casino floors.” “The journey to this moment has been filled with energy, excitement, and a deep appreciation for the opportunity to innovate with one of the world’s most iconic brands,” he added. Popular Game Available on Baron Portrait Cabinets The slot is based on the iconic Monopoly board game, inviting players to join Mr. Monopoly on a journey around the board while collecting prizes, properties, houses and hotels. Its design incorporates recognizable elements from the original game, including selectable tokens, Free Parking and the iconic game board. The game’s central feature is a set of three metamorphic gameplay elements: Extra Spins, Extra Properties and Extra Houses. These features can appear individually, in pairs or together, building toward the Big Board Bucks Bonus. During the bonus round, players can trigger rewards across the board, including money bags, properties, houses and hotels. The feature also includes Free Parking and the GO Jackpot Wheel, adding further potential rewards to the game. Aristocrat is offering the title on its Baron Portrait cabinet, with a configuration designed specifically for the game and multiple signage options for casino operators. The Class II expansion gives Aristocrat another opportunity to bring a branded slot title to a broader range of gaming venues. As a rule of thumb, Class II gaming is tied to bingo-based gaming options, usually offered at tribal casinos, whereas Class III typically covers traditional casino-style games like standard slots.
