Aristocrat expands ‘Stampede’ slot family with ‘Buffalo Mega Stampede Grand’

Aristocrat Gaming says it has launched the “Buffalo Mega Stampede Grand” slot game, expanding the supplier’s “Stampede” family of titles. The game, part of Aristocrat’s long-running “Buffalo” franchise, offers players a chance to win a US$1-million multi-site progressive “mega” jackpot, according to a Monday press release. The new title is available on casino floors across North America, the firm stated. Buffalo Mega Stampede Grand is a premium lease title and is making its debut on Aristocrat’s King Max cabinet, per the update. The game offers 1,024 ways to win and features a triple cascading metamorphic meter, with opportunities to unlock ‘Super’ and ‘Mega’ features, the supplier said. The ‘Bonus’ feature includes Buffalo ‘Hold & Spin’ with unlocking rows, while retrigger coins can provide access to the Super or Mega features. In the Super feature, buffalo symbols run vertically across the screen and add extra cash-on-reel prizes, while in the Mega feature they run horizontally and add multipliers to existing cash-on-reel values. The game also includes a “Gold Buffalo” feature offering players a chance at progressive prizes, Aristocrat Gaming said. Kurt Gissane, chief revenue officer at Aristocrat Gaming, said in prepared remarks: “Buffalo Mega Stampede… became a runaway success following its debut, with players loving the highly engaging gameplay, fast retriggering functionality, and of course, the iconic Buffalo sounds and iconography.” The Stampede game family also includes “Buffalo Ultimate Stampede” and “Buffalo Mega Stampede”.
