Americas Cardroom Opens OSS XL With $50 Million Guaranteed Across 336 Events

Americas Cardroom opened OSS XL on Sunday with a result that immediately gave the series a number to chase. BADGERING won OSS XL #13 for $130,209.51 after 1,118 entries pushed the $600,000 GTD High Roller to a $670,800 prize pool. A second high-stakes event also moved above its guarantee. OSS XL #16 drew 203 entries at $2,650 and finished with $507,500 in the prize pool. A final-table deal was made, with NewYorkMidgets first for $95,311.68, KevinParCoeur second for $93,874.52 and Olivander1 third for $87,459.25. The opening-day fields were not limited to four-figure buy-ins. The $109 Moneymaker drew 3,373 entries and paid winner WilliamRed $62,933.20. The $16.50 Sunday Splash drew 4,752 entries and ended with lukewarmwater taking $10,952.96. Mystery Bounty and Omaha players also had their turn. COTTAGECORE won the $100,000 GTD 6-Max Mystery Bounty, collecting $11,769.70 in regular prize money and $20,500 in bounties. peyton_manning won the $50,000 GTD PLO 6-Max PKO, earning $5,391.50 in regular prize money and $11,287.50 in bounties. That opening Sunday is one small part of the schedule. OSS XL runs through Sept. 29 with 336 events and more than $50 million guaranteed. The road ahead includes three Main Events with $5 million combined GTD, four major multi-flights, 10 Nosebleed Stakes tournaments and more than $60,000 in added leaderboard prizes. The three Main Events are $2.5 million GTD at $2,650, $2 million GTD at $1,050 and $500,000 GTD at $66. A 50% Reload Bonus up to $500 is still available through Sept. 10 on qualifying reloads of at least $25 with code HUGE.
