Zitro brings expanding reels, five jackpots to ‘Clover Paddy’ game series

Casino equipment supplier Zitro has outlined the features of “Clover Paddy”, an Irish-themed slot game family for its CONCEPT cabinet. The offering has two titles, “Gleann” and “Lough”, and features a leprechaun character whose interventions can add ‘wild’ symbols, enhance prizes and help players progress towards bonus rounds. In a Thursday announcement, Zitro highlighted three features – “Increase”, “Jackpots” and “Multiplier” – that can be combined during gameplay. In the bonus round, the reels expand into a five-by-five grid. During the base game, the leprechaun can scatter wild symbols across the reels or place a three-by-three wild symbol across the central reels. Coin symbols contribute to feature accumulators, with activation of one or more features unlocking the bonus round. The leprechaun can also award additional coins to advance progress towards the bonus, per the supplier. During the bonus, the character’s hat can trigger mystery events that reactivate ‘Increase’ symbols, multiply wins by up to five times, or fill a row with heart symbols to collect jackpots, according to Zitro. Landing a ‘Rainbow’ symbol unlocks a separate “Rainbow Roulette” bonus round with its own progressive jackpot. The game is said to offer five jackpots: Mega, Rainbow, Sapphire, Emerald and Amber. Clover Paddy was among the CONCEPT titles Zitro promoted earlier this month at the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) in Las Vegas, Nevada, in the United States.
