Macau casino operator Wynn Macau Ltd announced on Thursday an interim dividend of HKD0.223 (US$0.028) per share. The firm said it expects to pay the dividend on September 24, according to a filing to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. That was up from HKD0.185 per share in respect of the six months to June 30, 2025. Wynn Macau Ltd operates the Wynn Palace resort on Cotai, and also runs the Wynn Macau resort on the city’s peninsula. The company is a unit of U.S.-based casino developer Wynn Resorts Ltd. Wynn Macau Ltd had announced a first-half net profit attributable to the owners of HKD1.55 billion, up from HKD230.6 million in the prior-year period. That was on operating revenues of just above HKD15.59 billion, up 14.4 percent from a year ago. The firm reported first-half adjusted earnings before interest, taxation, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) of nearly HKD3.98 billion, 14.7-percent higher than a year earlier. Management at the Wynn group said earlier this month that construction of the group’s previously-announced event centre and theatre at Wynn Palace would begin “in the coming weeks”, following approval in July of revised land-use terms by the Macau government. The company also expects to commence construction of the US$950-million, 432-suite Enclave at Wynn Palace hotel tower before the end of this year. “The event centre and theatre are expected to be completed in 2028, and the Enclave is expected to open in 2029,” said Craig Billings, chief executive of Wynn Resorts, at the time of the group’s second-quarter earnings. “Taken together, these projects reflect a clear and confident investment in the future of the Macau market and our commitment to support its diversification efforts,” he added. The Wynn group expects its 2026 expansion-related capital expenditure in Macau to total between US$350 million and US$400 million.
