Trivelta has announced the acquisition of Kerma Games, the iGaming content studio behind a growing portfolio of original and celebrity-led games, as well as a 24/7 live dealer studio that represents one of the company’s strongest differentiators, bringing broadcast-quality production, real dealers and real-time interaction into its wider content offering. Kerma Games has built its identity around a simple idea: Games Players Remember. Alongside its original titles, Kerma has secured long-term, multi-year partnerships with some of the most recognisable names across music, sport and culture, including Snoop Dogg, Lil Baby, Sexyy Red and Luka Modrić. These long-term IP relationships provide a foundation for sustained game development and distribution, allowing Kerma to build meaningful content franchises around its talent partnerships rather than one-off releases. The acquisition creates opportunities to extend these entertainment and talent partnerships across Trivelta’s wider product ecosystem, while providing Kerma with additional resources, technology and international reach to accelerate game development and significantly expand its global distribution. Kerma Games will continue to operate under its own brand, retaining its creative identity, product strategy and commercial presence in the wider market. Its content will continue to be available to operators and platforms independently of Trivelta’s technology ecosystem. Carson Hubbard, CEO of Trivelta, said: Kerma Games has built something genuinely different in a market where standing out is becoming increasingly difficult. It combines strong technology and game development with a clear understanding of entertainment, culture and globally recognised talent, and we’ve already seen that translate into real success across our client portfolio. We believe that combination has enormous potential. For Trivelta, this acquisition is about much more than adding another games studio to our portfolio. We are investing in a brand with a distinctive identity, an ambitious product roadmap, including a 24/7 live casino studio that will bring Kerma’s games to life in an entirely new format, and the potential to become one of the most recognisable names in iGaming. Kerma has already demonstrated what can happen when gaming, entertainment and cultural relevance come together. With Trivelta behind it, we now have the opportunity to accelerate that vision, expand its global reach and take the brand to an entirely new level. This is not about changing what makes Kerma different. It is about giving it the scale to become bigger. Liam Tassiello, COO and Founder of Kerma Games, said: This is a major step forward for Kerma. We built the company around the ambition of creating games and partnerships that players genuinely remember, and joining Trivelta gives us the resources and reach to pursue that ambition on a much larger scale. Kerma remains Kerma. The brand, team and creative direction continue, but we can now develop more content, reach significantly more operators and platforms, and pursue bigger opportunities across gaming, entertainment and culture. For our partners, this means the same Kerma they know, but with a much stronger foundation behind it. We’re only getting started. For Trivelta, the acquisition adds proprietary content and entertainment IP capabilities to its existing B2B technology ecosystem, creating new opportunities across both companies and further expanding the products and experiences Trivelta can bring to operators. For Kerma, the transaction provides a foundation for faster product development, broader international distribution and a larger pipeline of original games and long-term entertainment partnerships.
