Actress Sydney Sweeney dropped a new commercial for sports prediction market Novig and it’s equally as sultry as the first spot, which appeared last month. Actress Sydney Sweeney. She’s appearing in another racy Novig commercial. (Image: Novig) Wearing no more than Novig-branded underwear and footballs to cover her cleavage, Sweeney, as she did in the original commercial, reminds viewers that Novig is a sports-only yes/no exchange while taking shots at unidentified competitors. “There are grown men making spreadsheets to bet on what color underwear I’m wearing… I mean, I’m flattered,” she says in the commercial. “There’s insider trading on dictators dying and armies of bots manipulating it all. There’s someone sitting in a bathroom stall betting their 401K on a war. And then, there are people who just trade on sports.” The “Euphoria” star dropped the new spot on her Instagram account on Sunday. Novig, Sweeney Not Shying Away from Controversy Sweeney’s original Novig commercial, in which she was also scantily clad, drew rebuke from some in the court of public opinion and from some female athletes who claimed the actress’s little-to-the-imagination commercial harmed women in sports by over-sexualizing them. However, Sweeney didn’t take those claims lightly. She fired back on social media, posting numerous examples of female athletes posing for publications, such as ESPN The Magazine and the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, wearing little to no clothing. Perhaps it’s a case of all publicity, or in this case all exposure (pun intended), being good publicity, but neither Novig nor Sweeney are backing away from the controversy. That makes sense because the actress is well-known to young men – the very demographic to which prediction market and sportsbook operators are catering. Sweeney Appears to Be Good for Novig Business Prior to the release of the first Sweeney commercial, Novig was already one of the fastest-growing names in the prediction market industry, but the actress’s racy ads may be favorably affecting the company’s economics. Perhaps it’s just a coincidence, but soon after the debut of the first Sweeney commercial, various reports indicated that Novig was valued at $2 billion following a recent capital-raising effort. That’s quadruple the $500 million valuation on the company seen earlier this year. So it’s not a stretch to say that institutional investors and venture capitalists backing Novig aren’t squeamish about the Sweeney commercials. That’s to her economic benefit, too. Novig isn’t paying her in cash to appear in the ads. When she approached the company about an endorsement deal, she requested equity. Novig obliged, though her ownership stake is the one thing that hasn’t been revealed. The post Sydney Sweeney Back With Another Racy Novig Ad appeared first on Casino.org.
