Stewart’s Las Vegas shows for Aug. 18, 20, 22, 25, 27, and 29 were refunded, as the legendary singer announced he would be undergoing a “routine coronary stent procedure.” Now recovered, Stewart is preparing to return to the stage next spring. The rock icon—who clarified in late September that he is not retiring, but rather embarking on his final major rock tour—booked new dates this week at Mohegan Sun in Connecticut and Fallsview Casino Resort in Niagara Falls, Ontario. The singer behind “Maggie May” and “You Wear It Well” will play the OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino on Thursday, March 4, 2027, followed by a performance at Mohegan Sun Arena on Friday, March 19, 2027. Mohegan, the gaming and hospitality enterprise of the Mohegan Tribe of Connecticut, operates both venues. The concert promises an unprecedented night of iconic hit songs from one of the best-selling artists of all time,” a Mohegan spokesperson told Casino.org. Stewart has sold more than 250 million albums worldwide, with his signature voice, style, and songwriting landing him two inductions into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Casino Tour Stewart’s performances at Mohegan Sun and Fallsview join a growing list of casino dates for the 81-year-old artist, including a scheduled stop at Hard Rock Live at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Fla. Dubbed The Final Encore, Stewart says this is the last time to see him live on tour. “Ladies and gentlemen, after much deliberation and sadness, I have to announce next year will be my last tour ever, ever, ever,” Stewart said in his September Instagram video. “I’m not retiring, but this will be the last rock ‘n’ roll tour. So, I want to thank you for everything you’ve given me, and, hopefully, I’ve given you something in return.” Born in London, Stewart first achieved commercial success in the late 1960s with Faces before launching a solo career that made him one of music’s enduring superstars. Six decades later, his final tour will offer fans one last opportunity to hear classics like “The First Cut Is the Deepest,” “Forever Young,” and “Tonight’s the Night.” Rod Stewart and Las Vegas Stewart’s long-running connection to Las Vegas began in August 2011 with the launch of his residency, Rod Stewart: The Hits, at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace—a show that enjoyed a decade-plus run at the iconic Strip resort.
