NorthStar Gaming has appointed Corey Goodman as CEO in a permanent role at a time when it is dealing with its week’s financial office and working on its operations. At the same time, Ben Powell is also present in the interim CFO position, while Krisztina Kalla is the new member on the executive board as a vice president for compliance. NorthStar Gaming Holdings has confirmed Corey Goodman as its chief executive officer. Previously, Goodman worked as interim CEO of the company, which enabled it to overcome its financial and operational instability due to the incomplete reporting and audits. Dean MacDonald, board chair of the company, confirmed the value Goodman has brought to the firm during the difficult period. Dean MacDonald, chair, NorthStar Gaming, commented: Corey has brought focus and discipline to the Company at a pivotal time, and the Board has full confidence in his leadership as NorthStar completes its outstanding financial reporting and continues to strengthen the business. Moreover, Ben Powell has been appointed interim CFO of the business after Chin Dhushenthen’s resignation on August 17, 2026, who agrees to act as an advisor to NorthStar until the final compliance of audits is obtained. Powell, who is a CFA, has been working for NorthStar from the very start, helping the organization with its financial and capital issues. At the same time, meanwhile, Krisztina Kalla has become a new member of the executive board as vice president in charge of compliance. Corey Goodman, CEO, NorthStar Gaming, commented: I am also pleased to welcome Ben and Krisztina to their new roles, and I am confident that the strengthened finance and compliance functions will serve the Company well as we move forward.
