Neon City Festival Announces First Lineup of F1 Weekend Headliners

Downtown Las Vegas is preparing for yet another big weekend of entertainment as the Neon City Festival announces the initial list of artists booked to perform during this year’s Formula 1 festivities. Three-Day Fremont Street Festival to Mix EDM, Hip-Hop and Rock The three-day festival, starting on November 20, will bring a mix of hip-hop, electronic music and alternative rock to the Fremont Street area. The first wave of artists includes Grammy-nominated rapper Fat Joe, electronic music producer Kaskade, global EDM star Marshmello, bass music artist Subtronics, and alternative rock band The Fray, reported The Las Vegas Review-Journal. Different acts draw different crowds to the event. Fat Joe is recognized for his long career in hip-hop and many successful singles, whereas Kaskade has become one of the established names in electronic dance music. Meanwhile, Marshmello has built a global following with billions of streams and collaborations across pop and electronic music. Subtronics will bring a heavier bass-driven sound to the program, while The Fray will add an alternative rock element with songs that were popular in the 2000s. The festival began in 2024 and has become an alternative in the downtown area for those seeking entertainment beyond the main Formula 1 activities. Admission is free, and programming is spread across the three stages at the Fremont Street Experience. Downtown Las Vegas Events Center will be included as well. Downtown Las Vegas Festival Adds More Attractions for F1 Weekend Local food and drink businesses, visual art, and interactive attractions are also planned by organizers, in addition to music. More acts and more information on the broader entertainment schedule at the festival are expected to be revealed in the lead-up to November. The event is produced in partnership with the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, Fremont Street Experience and Audacy. Derek Stevens, owner of downtown properties including Circa Resort & Casino, Golden Gate and D Las Vegas, is among the festival’s major players and the creator. The event is being led by Circa CEO Jeff Victor. Organizers see the festival as a big boost to a weekend that has become one of the busiest on the Las Vegas calendar. The event provides another way for visitors to experience the city during Formula 1 weekend and highlights the character of downtown, said LVCVA President and CEO Steve Hill. The announced performers are just a start to the plans for this year, and more will be added in the coming weeks, Stevens said. Neon City Festival is once again positioning downtown Las Vegas as a major destination during the Grand Prix weekend with its blend of free concerts, dining, art, and immersive attractions.
