The Winner Faced Off Against the Best Dealers on the Continent The second annual G2E Dealer Championship just took place during the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) in Las Vegas. The one emerging on top was Emely Pascual-Alvarez, who works as a table games dealer at the Mohegan Sun casino in Connecticut. Pascual-Alvarez qualified for the G2E Dealer Championship after competing against more than 20 other Mohegan Sun dealers over the course of two days. At G2E, she competed in blackjack and roulette. During the competition, she faced North America’s best dealers and emerged victorious. The competition took place over the course of three days and featured some 50 dealers. Participants were rated on a 10-point scale, with their skill, technical ability, professionalism, and player experience being tested. As the winner of this prestigious event, Pascual-Alvarez was rewarded with a $5,000 prize. Pascual-Alvarez Said That Winning Felt Surreal The skilled woman commented on her experience at the G2E Dealer Championship, saying that it was an incredible event. She admitted that winning felt surreal, considering that she had to compete against many of North America’s top casino dealers. Pascual-Alvarez concluded that this will be a moment that will remain etched into her memory. She thanked her casino and colleagues for backing her and thanked G2E for hosting this competition. This has been such a memorable experience, and a huge thank you goes out to G2E, my colleagues, and Mohegan Sun leadership who were behind me the whole way.
