When the machine had to spit out the ticket, however, it jammed. Where some people might have gotten discouraged and walked out, the man in question decided to stay until his ticket was delivered. The man contacted an employee and was told that the ticket he had bought was, in fact, the last one of its kind. Luckily, the employee was able to get the ticket out and the player scanned it shortly after that. When the “Go to Lottery” message popped up, the man immediately understood that he had won big. The man, who had simply scanned the ticket without scratching it, got to scratching. When the $10,000 prize popped up, the man thought that he had won a five-figure prize.
