BMM Testlabs, a specialist in product compliance testing for the gaming sector, announced on Monday that it has been approved to provide online gaming testing and certification services in New Zealand under the country’s new online casino regulatory framework. Kirk White, president of land-based gaming and inspections at BMM Testlabs, was quoted as saying: “BMM has a long history of supporting New Zealand’s land-based gaming industry, and we’re excited to build upon those relationships as the country moves toward regulated online casino gaming. “Our customers rely on us for quality, speed, and service. We’re proud to bring that same commitment to this next chapter of New Zealand’s gaming industry.” The Online Casino Gambling Act 2026 establishes a regulated framework for online casino gaming in New Zealand. According to Monday’s update from BMM Testlabs, as New Zealand makes preparations to go live with regulated online casino services, the firm will provide independent testing and certification, “to help ensure gaming products meet the country’s technical and regulatory requirements”. BMM Testlabs added: “These services help support fair play, protect consumers, and build confidence in the regulated gaming market.” The group added: “BMM’s capabilities are further strengthened by its combination with eCOGRA, bringing together two highly respected organisations with complementary expertise in gaming testing and certification. “Together, the companies offer broader technical capabilities, regulatory knowledge, and a shared commitment to quality and service across global gaming markets.”
