Wynn Al Marjan Island, the casino resort under construction in Ras Al Khaimah in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), is to feature the “Mayfair Apartment” and the “Paris Apartment” (pictured in an artist’s rendering). The two units will be the “highest and largest” accommodation offerings within Enclave, the complex’s boutique hotel, according to a Monday press release. Wynn Al Marjan Island is being developed by casino operator Wynn Resorts Ltd alongside local partners Marjan LLC and RAK Hospitality Holding LLC. Wynn Resorts, parent of Macau casino operator Wynn Macau Ltd, holds a 40-percent equity interest in the UAE scheme. Each apartment will have seven bedrooms, as well as “multiple entertaining rooms”, “private bars” and spaces for gathering. Guests will be able to receive dining, spa and salon services, as well as entertainment, within the apartments, per the announcement. “The Mayfair and Paris Apartments are palaces in the sky. There is nothing on the world stage today that will rival what we’ve created here,” said Todd-Avery Lenahan, president and chief creative officer of Wynn Design & Development, as cited in the Monday announcement. He added: “Everything comes to you. There are only two accommodations at this level of the tower, and every aspect of the experience has been intentionally designed around privacy, service and personalisation.” Wynn Resorts said in August that Wynn Al Marjan Island is due to open in September 2027, with the scheme’s total budget increasing by approximately US$600 million to US$5.7 billion. The Mayfair Apartment was created through a collaboration between Wynn Design & Development and London-based Anouska Hempel Design. The Paris Apartment was a work of collaboration with Pinto, a Paris-based architecture design studio. Enclave at Wynn Al Marjan Island is to offer an aggregate of 323 suites, including three accommodation categories: The Mayfair and Paris Apartments; the Townhomes; and the Marina and Ocean Estates, according to Monday’s update.
