Mindway AI becomes silver sponsor of gaming regulators’ body IAGR

Denmark-based player-protection technology specialist Mindway AI has joined the International Association of Gaming Regulators (IAGR) as a silver sponsor. Mindway AI provides player-protection systems said to combine use of neuroscience and artificial intelligence (AI). The technology aims to help identify those either at risk or with a gambling problem, and then enable intervention. The company works with operators, platform providers, regulators and governments across more than 73 jurisdictions, according to a recent press release. As an IAGR silver sponsor, Mindway AI will support the association’s initiatives throughout the year, including educational programmes, working groups and collaborative efforts covering emerging technology, responsible gambling and regulatory oversight. Mindway AI chief executive Rasmus Kjaergaard said in prepared remarks that the company was “proud” to join IAGR and “support its mission to drive international collaboration and practical regulatory education”. He added: “As artificial intelligence rapidly evolves across the industry, our focus remains on leveraging technology responsibly to strengthen player protection.” Mr Kjaergaard is also due to take part in the IAGR2026 conference, to be held in Lima, Peru, from October 19 to 22. He will participate in a session titled “AI for Regulators: Practical Tools, Real Use Cases, and Responsible Oversight”. The discussion will consider how regulators can use AI responsibly, including for document review, anomaly detection, triage, translation and intelligence support, per the update. IAGR chief executive Kevin Mullally said Mindway AI’s expertise would also contribute to the association’s Technology Working Group, Model Rules Committee and other initiatives. “They are an innovative company devoted to player protection, which aligns with IAGR’s core mission and several new initiatives relating to reducing friction for new technology,” Mr Mullally stated.
