Light & Wonder debuts Mini Ultimate Texas Hold’em product

Gaming equipment and content provider Light & Wonder Inc says its new “Mini Ultimate Texas Hold’em” live table game has made its world debut. It is described as a streamlined, faster-paced version of Ultimate Texas Hold’em, a poker-based table game already part of the company’s portfolio. The new game is played with a standard 52-card deck, with players seeking to build their best three-card poker hand using one player card and community cards, according to a recent announcement from the supplier. Mini Ultimate Texas Hold’em also includes additional wagering opportunities via the ‘Flush Plus Side Bet’, ‘3 Card Bonus Side Bet’ and a progressive feature, per the update. The product was launched at Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona, in the United States. Jon Hanlin, president of global tables at Light & Wonder, said in prepared remarks the company was “proud” to have Talking Stick Resort as the first casino property globally to offer the new game. “The property has built a strong table games offering, making it an ideal location to debut this latest addition to our portfolio,” Mr Hanlin stated. Following the initial launch, Mini Ultimate Texas Hold’em is also due to become available at Casino Arizona, a sister property of Talking Stick Resort, according to the release.
