The Sheraton Bogotá Salitre Hotel, in Colombia’s capital, opens its doors today to visitors from Brazil, Peru, Slovenia, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, the United States, Georgia, Mexico, Venezuela, Slovakia, Costa Rica, China, and the Dominican Republic, among other countries. Together with gaming operators and executives from across Colombia, they are gathering for a one-day event to discuss the latest developments in this important economic sector, discover cutting-edge technologies, explore business opportunities, close deals, and forge strategic partnerships. With a strong focus on the land-based gaming segment, the exhibition brings together leading domestic and international manufacturers and suppliers showcasing innovations in slot machines, gaming cabinets, electronic roulettes, management systems, digital platforms, and omnichannel solutions for casinos and online betting. The 2026 edition is supported by Pragmatic Play, BetPlay, BetConstruct, YaJuego, and Gamanza as sponsors, contributing to the development of this platform for business networking and industry insights. Exhibiting companies include Novomatic, Win Systems/Gold Club, Interblock, RPCOL, Gem Solutions, Global Technology Services, Oklahoma, Play Group, Royal Gaming, BetConstruct, Chensehengtong Technology, and UP Gaming, presenting high-quality products and services for the land-based and online gaming sectors. Coljuegos, Colombia’s national gaming regulator, is participating with an institutional booth, where representatives from its various departments will engage with attendees, further strengthening this exclusive gathering of the Colombian gaming ecosystem. GAT Talks: Three Strategic Industry Discussions From 2:20 p.m. to 4:20 p.m., GAT Talks will bring together prominent industry representatives to address three topics of particular importance to the Colombian and Latin American markets: responsible gaming, the current landscape of land-based casinos, and the evolution of gamification. The first panel, “Responsible Gaming in Colombia,” will feature the presidents of four major Colombian gaming industry associations: Evert Montero Cárdenas of Fecoljuegos; Juan Carlos Restrepo of Asojuegos; Elizabeth Maya Cano of Cornazar; and Willington Ortiz of Fedelco. The discussion will provide an opportunity to exchange experiences and perspectives from industry associations on one of the sector’s most important commitments. The following session, “The Current Landscape of Land-Based Casinos in Colombia and Latin America,” will focus on the evolution and challenges facing this segment. The discussion will be moderated by Georges Didier, Regional Director for Latin America at Gaming Laboratories International (GLI), with the participation of Laura Marcela Arévalo, Legal Advisor at Cornazar, and José Luis Osorio, CEO of Retailsoft. The conference program will conclude with “Gamification Is Not a Bonus Engine: Why the Industry Confused the Mechanism with the Experience,” a session led by Andrés Blanco, Managing Director and Product Director at Gamanza Engage, alongside Lina Gallego, Country Manager at Luckia Colombia; Paola Gayón, Marketing Manager at BetPlay; Diego Fernando Arévalo of YaJuego; and Favián Granados, CRM at Xpanzia. The discussion will explore the role of gamification in the user experience and emerging strategies for customer engagement and retention. José Aníbal Aguirre, CEO of GAT Events, commented: Beyond the technology exhibition and networking opportunities, GAT Expo Bogotá is a high-level business platform where domestic and international manufacturers and suppliers meet face-to-face with gaming operators and business leaders who have the authority and resources to make investment decisions. The event encourages equipment upgrades and gaming portfolio expansion as 2026 draws to a close, stimulating the Colombian market while promoting legal gaming and sustainable industry development.
