EGT Digital is to expand its product offering in the Philippines after its local affiliate secured new accreditations from the country’s gaming regulator, covering game content provision and game aggregation. EGT Philippines has been accredited by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp (Pagcor) as a game content provider for electronic casino games and sports betting, and as a game aggregator, according to a press release from EGT Digital. The approvals allow EGT Digital to offer a broader range of its proprietary content and technology to Pagcor-licensed operators in the Philippine market, per the statement. EGT Digital is part of Euro Games Technology (EGT), a Bulgaria-based supplier of slot machines and electronic table games. As a game content provider, EGT Philippines will be able to offer EGT Digital’s in-house casino games and its sportsbook product to licensed operators, the supplier said. The game aggregator accreditation will enable the company to introduce its aggregation platform, allowing operators to access gaming content from multiple providers via a single integration. EGT Digital said the latest regulatory approvals meant it could address a wider range of operator requirements in the Philippines, combining proprietary casino content, sports betting technology and third-party game aggregation. The announcement cited Mariana Manchina, director of EGT Philippines, as saying: “These accreditations are an important milestone for EGT Philippines and reflect our long-term commitment to the local market.” She added: “They create new opportunities for us to grow our presence, deepen our partnerships with local operators and contribute to the continued development of the regulated gaming sector in the country.” Pagcor’s Electronic Gaming Licensing Department regulates electronic gaming operations in the Philippines and handles the accreditation of service providers, as well as the evaluation and approval of electronic gaming platforms, systems, and content. The regulator already lists a number of EGT Digital titles among its approved electronic casino games. A Pagcor list dated March 19 this year included a range of EGT Digital slot titles authorised for the market. The latest development builds on the supplier’s existing presence in the Philippines. Pagcor separately lists Euro Games Technology Philippines Corp as an approved supplier of products, including slot machines, electronic table game terminals, game conversion kits and casino management systems. Earlier this month, the parent company also announced it had received a gaming-related vendor licence from the United Arab Emirates’ General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority. The approval permits the company to supply its land-based gaming products in that market.
