Crazy Horse 3, one of Las Vegas’s most recognizable strip clubs and a longtime fixture of the industrial corridor west of the Strip, has abruptly closed its doors. The venue shut down on Aug. 11 with no warning to patrons and no explanation to staff, a club representative confirmed to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, The Crazy Horse 3 as it appears in a recent undated photo. (Image: Google Street View) Management issued a brief statement framing the closure as temporary and saying the venue is “incredibly grateful for the continued support surrounding Crazy Horse 3 and look forward to sharing additional updates in the coming days.”Those updates never came — though, if they ever do, they are widely expected to involve a major renovation of the 3525 West Russell Road property. Employees say they’ve heard talk of an extensive overhaul and possible financial restructuring, but no timeline, blueprint, or formal briefing have been provided. Work Horse Crazy Horse 3 opened in 2009 under nightlife veteran Nando Sostilo, who has remained co‑owner and operator. Despite launching in the depths of the Great Recession, the club quickly became one of Las Vegas’ busiest adult entertainment venues. Its nightly roster of contracted dancers and its knack for attaching parties to major events – including the Las Vegas Grand Prix, the NCAA Tournament and especially its 2024 Super Bowl — helped build the club a loyal following that apparently included Travis Kelce. On Nov. 26, 2023, after the Kansas City Chiefs beat the Raiders 31–17 at nearby Allegiant Stadium, Taylor Swift’s fiancé (at the time) walked into his post-game media casually donning a black T-shirt emblazoned with the Crazy Horse 3 logo. The original Crazy Horse Too, which opened on Industrial Road in the 1980s, became one of the city’s most infamous strip clubs — a magnet for celebrities and, later, federal investigators. Its former owner, Rick Rizzolo, lost the club after racketeering allegations, tax issues, and a forced sale in 2013.Crazy Horse 3 is not a legal successor to Crazy Horse Too, but the branding was intentional. Borrowing the name gave the new club instant recognition in a crowded nightlife market. While Crazy Horse 3 has avoided the legal turmoil that defined Crazy Horse Too, it couldn’t escape Las Vegas’ recent economic slowdown. Tourism fell 7.4% in 2025, and Sostilio told the R-J last August that “the whole town is slower,” calling that summer the weakest he had seen in years.
