US sweepstakes casinos strengthened their position in the online gambling search landscape in Q3 2026, even as overall demand for the segment began to decline after its July peak, according to data from Blask. The sector’s share of combined Blask Index, covering traditional gambling brands, prediction markets, and sweepstakes casinos, increased by 8.6 percentage points compared with Q2, reaching its highest quarterly level of 2026. The increase came despite a slowdown in absolute demand. Following a low in May, US sweepstakes casino interest climbed 19.5% to reach its annual peak in July. By September, Blask Index had declined 9.2% from that high, although demand remained above May levels. A significant shift was also recorded in the prediction markets segment, where search interest dropped by more than 50% between July and August. This decline coincided with sweepstakes casinos gaining a larger share of overall search interest, despite their own demand having already passed its peak. The figures highlight a distinction between growth in consumer demand and changes in relative category performance. While July marked the strongest month for sweepstakes casino interest, the segment’s share of the broader gambling search landscape reached its annual high in Q3. At the operator level, Crown Coins ranked first among US sweepstakes casino brands by Blask Index in Q3 2026, according to the company’s quarterly brand rankings. Methodology: Blask Index measures relative online search demand. The category shares cited in this analysis reflect proportions of combined Blask Index, not gambling revenue or operator market share.
