Bally’s CFO Mira Mircheva announced a resign at the end of September 2026 for some personal reasons. President George Papanier will take over as the interim CFO of the company. Mircheva resignatation comes at the time when the company is facing liquidity concerns and over a $4.466 billion in long-term debt. There are also substantial doubts over Bally’s ability to continue as a going concern. While the company searches for Mircheva’s successor, Bally’s president George Papanier will serve as interim CFO. Papanier will oversee the finance function during the search for a permanent appointment. Robeson Reeves, Chief Executive Officer at Bally’s Corporation, commented: We thank Mira for her service and wish her well. George’s long-standing leadership, together with an experienced finance team, will help ensure our reporting, controls and capital markets work continue without disruption. Mircheva was appointed as the CFO of Bally in May 2025, which makes it nearly 16 months since she has been in this role. Prior to Bally, she was also the CFO of Queen Casino & Entertainment. Bally and Queen merged together after Standard General LP acquired the firm. Mircheva worked with Standard General as a partner for over 8 years before she assumed this role.
