The parking garage at Live! Casino in South Philadelphia became the site of yet another violent incident after four robbers assaulted a victim and ran away with a four-figure sum. The attackers, who were masked and armed, stole the woman’s purse, which contained $4,000 in cash. Another Victim on Thursday as Robbers Make Away with $4,000 in Cash The robbery was immediately reported, with the robbers successfully getting away with no news about who they may have been. The robbery was committed shortly before midnight, with the victim shaken by the events but left unharmed. She was able to get back to her vehicle and notify police and the casino about the attack. As to the assailants, they fled the scene in a white Honda Accord. While the victim is okay, the Live! Casino parking garage has been the scene of other unsavory developments, just a day before. A man was stabbed twice when a fight broke out on Wednesday, and the attacker fled in a dark-colored Infiniti SUV. The two incidents, though, are not related, as far as the police know. Media outlets have been covering these and similar incidents, noting that there was a city-wide trend in Philadelphia for crime happening in the early hours. According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, attackers who target casino patrons are looking for a particular type. They want patrons who appear to be carrying more money on themselves, which is standard for casino-goers looking to play with larger sums. The newspaper also reported, relating to the Thursday accident, that the four people assaulting the victim were in fact male, and they wore ski masks. Their vehicle was reported stolen in New Jersey.
